1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using CV Maker ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

CV Maker is a resume, CV and cover letter creation app that provides:

• Structured form-based resume and cover letter editing
• Professional PDF generation using an on-device typesetting engine
• Multiple resume and cover letter template designs
• PDF export and printing capabilities

3. User Content

• Your content is yours. All resume data you create belongs to you.
• Local storage. Your content is stored locally on your device, and optionally in your private iCloud account if you enable sync.
• No upload. We never upload, access or view your content.
• Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and content of the resumes you create.

4. Premium Subscription

4.1 Subscription Plans

The app offers a free tier and the following Premium plans:

Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Actual prices are displayed in the app before purchase.

The limited-time yearly offer is shown only while the offer is open in the app, is not available to everyone at all times, and renews each year at that same reduced price unless cancelled.

4.2 Auto-Renewal & Billing

• Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price.
• All purchases and payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

4.3 Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions

• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings under your Apple Account, in the Subscriptions section.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Premium features until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, no refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us.
• The Lifetime purchase does not auto-renew and does not require cancellation.

4.4 Universal Purchase

A single purchase or subscription unlocks Premium on all your Apple devices signed into the same Apple Account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app's systems.
• Redistribute, sublicense or resell the app.

6. Intellectual Property

• The app, including its design, code, templates and typesetting engine, is the intellectual property of the developer.
• Resume templates are licensed for personal and professional use in creating your own resumes.
• You may not extract, copy or redistribute template designs separately from the app.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

• We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• We do not guarantee that resumes created with the app will result in job interviews or employment.
• We do not guarantee compatibility with all Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), though our PDF output is designed for ATS compatibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Loss of data — always keep backups of important information
• Lost employment opportunities
• Any damages resulting from errors in PDF output

9. Data Loss

• The app stores data locally on your device.
• Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all data.
• We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, software updates or user actions.
• We recommend exporting important resumes as PDF before uninstalling.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Apple's Terms

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
